Katherine Dee, MD

 

Kate found her way to aesthetic medicine the way many women do: she found she needed to take better care of her skin.  In her mid 40's she suddenly found her skin catching up to her age (after years of patients asking if she was old enough to be a doctor)!  Being the science geek that she is, she began a thorough education in aesthetic medicine. With the skills and the knowledge, she decided to help others use the science for themselves.  

 

Kate grew up in New York City and attended Yale for college and medical school, finishing her MD in 1994. She first came to Seattle for residency in Radiology at the University of Washington in 1995. She then did a fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco.  She has been a breast cancer specialist at Seattle Breast Center for 12 years, receiving Top Doc honors each year since 2011. In that role she has performed thousands of needle procedures and taken care of some very amazing women who have had a profound impact on her life and practice.  It is they who have inspired her to create glow.
